Though they’ve been working together for a little over two weeks, the Pella Christian girls track team is in full practice mode now, especially since the dry, warmer weather has gotten the team out and onto the new track. Eagles’ Head Coach Janetta Nieuwsma says the emphasis in recent practices has been on form and technique for both runners and competitors in field events. She says breaking down form helped her make the greatest amount of progress as an athlete in college and expects the same to be true for the girls on the squad. Pella Christian will face their first competition of the season on April 6th when they travel to Bloomfield for the Davis County Co-ed.
