The Central College baseball team opens up Iowa Conference play today as the Dutch host Wartburg in a three-game series. Central is 9-4 following a successful campaign in Florida, and will face a Knights team that is a deceptive 6-8 overall this spring.

Dutch Head Coach Adam Stevens says he and the team are excited to start the conference season and are looking forward to playing at home against a quality opponent like Wartburg.

Central plays a nine-inning contest starting at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, and will follow that up with a pair of seven-inning games again in Pella on tomorrow. Saturday’s games will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS.
