The Pella boys soccer team will rely on a number veteran players to guide the team in their 2010 campaign, but they will be looking for a key player or players to fill in a very important role on the squad – goalkeeper. The Little Dutch have 15 varsity players returning from last years squad, but of the four players that graduated last spring, two of them specialized in playing between the posts.

Pella boys Head Coach Mark Solomon says he’s got three capable candidates to chose from for the goalkeeper position, but says there needs to be some time to sort out which of those options will get the starting nod. Luckily for Solomon, time is something that is on his side. The Little Dutch get a somewhat late start to the season, as their first official game won’t be until April 13th.
