Knoxville finished in a third place tie with host Clarke last night in the DeWitt Girls Track and Field Invitational. Two first place finishes highlighted the Panthers night as they won the Distance Medley and the four-by-200. Five runner-up finishes also helped Knoxville’s cause. Katie Ayers was second in the discus, Chambray Daugherty was runner-up in the high jump, Alissa Van Klootwyk took silver in the 1500. Knoxville was also second in the four-by-800, and four-by-400.
