Wednesday was the deadline to file for county offices for the upcoming election and Marion County will have only two county primary races this June.  Craig Agan of Knoxville and Adam Wadle of Melcher are both running for the Board of Supervisor’s position in the Republican primary and Ed Bull and Ken Weiland, both currently of Des Moines, are vying for the Republican nomination for county attorney. Also for the Republicans is unchallenged incumbent Karen Schwanebeck for County Recorder.  On the Democratic ticket is Ray Stone running for the Board of Supervisor’s position, unchallenged incumbent Denise Emal for County Treasurer and Dawn Michelle Bowman for County Attorney.  The primary election will take place on June 8th.
