The Pella Christian boys enjoyed a successful start to their season with a 3-1 win over PCM last night in the first soccer games played on the new turf at Pella Christian. Dan Hessing scored two goals and James Blom scored the other all of which were unassisted. Goalkeeper Nathan Terpstra had a big night as well recording 12 saves. Head coach Josh Visser said overall he was very impressed with how they played in the season opener. The Eagles are 1-0 overall and will compete in a jamboree tomorrow morning where they will play Pella for one half of soccer starting at 9am. They then begin LHC action hosting a very tough Norwalk team next Thursday.
