Memorial services for Jessie Scott, age 94 of Knoxville will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Community of Christ Church at 2:00 p.m. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Jessie passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at West Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 94 years, 9 months and 13 days. Survivors include her children, Richard (Mary Ann) Scott of Chicago, IL, Phyllis Scott of Salem IL; grandchildren, Judy (Joe) Hefner, Barry (Marlene) Bartes, Sherry ( Ross) Lombardo, Scott Nielson, Debbie ( Bill) Lavazza, Kim (Bill) Petrucci, all from the Chicago land area, Donny Stewart of Town Creek, Al and Anita (Paul) Thompson of Knoxville, IA; sisters, Betty (Darvin) Dare, LaVera Swarthout, Marilyn Swanson all of Knoxville; 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
