Pella Christian’s girls soccer team got back on the winning track with a 2-0 win over Chariton last night. The Eagles outshot Chariton 25-4. Bekah Posthuma opened the scoring for the Eagles, Lindsey Peirson tallied the second Eagle goal. Kayla Van Wyk had an outstanding defensive game with 39 defensive stops. Shelby Sytsma recorded 35 defensive stops and Lexi Warden had 21 defensive stops. Goalkeeper Abbey DeBruin recorded her third shutout of the season. The Eagles are now 3-7.
