The Pella High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be holding their annual Coaches Appreciation Dinner tonight at the Vermeer Global Pavillion in Pella.
Aaron Reasland, the head baseball coach at Pella High School is the leader of the Pella High FCA and says this Coaches Appreciation Dinner was an idea developed totally by the kids to give back to their coaches who give so much to them.
The Coaches will be treated to a private catered dinner served by the student athletes starting at 6:15pm. The doors will then open to the public at 7pm and at 7:15pm the students will honor the coaches followed by a guest speaker, Carl Gonder, an Eastern Iowa representative of the FCA who had a successful professional basketball career in Australlia.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend to also show their appreciation and support of Pella High’s coaches who give so much time and dedication to not only athletics at Pella High School, but also preparing the student athletes for life after high school.
