The Central College baseball team gets a late start to their weekend series with Loras College, after yesterday’s game was postponed because of rain. The Dutch are 24-10 overall and tied for second in the Iowa Conference with a league record of 13-6. The Duhawks are 6-10 in the conference after falling to the University of Dubuque earlier this week.

Central begins the first of two seven-inning games with Loras at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon in Dubuque. Following today’s action, the Dutch will conclude the series on Sunday with a nine-inning contest.
