The Knoxville Fire Department will open their doors to residents for their open house pancake breakfast on Saturday, June 5th. Knoxville Fire Chief Mike Roberts says they will be showing off their new fire rescue attack truck along with the rest of their equipment, while the Lions Club serves pancakes and sausage. Roberts also says he has received confirmation from Iowa Methodist Hospital that they will bring their Life Flight Helicopter for the event. The open house will start at 7am and run until people stop showing up.
