Pella Christian used aggressive play at the plate and strong pitching to beat SE Warren 6-2 last night.

Zach Zylstra pitched a complete game allowing seven hits, while striking out seven and walking one to get the win in his first outing of the season.

Again the Eagles were aggressive at the plate and hit the ball hard from top to bottom in their lineup pounding out 10 hits including 3 doubles and a homerun. Zylstra helped his own cause as he had a homerun and 3 RBI, Jon Holwerda and Justin Pastoor each went 2-4 with a double qnd an RBI, and San DeNooy also added an RBI.

The Eagles improved to 2-0 on the season and have scored 14 runs in their first two games. They will host Albia tonight in their home opener, weather permitting, with the JV playing at 5:30pm followed by the varsity.
