Following the lead set by Ethan Miller in the Long Jump on Thursday, three more Central College Track and Field multi-athletes earned All-America honors yesterday at the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Championships. For the second straight year, Kurtis Brondyke finished in 5th place in the Decathlon, while Miller was behind him in eighth. On the women’s side, Jill Ziskovsky took fifth in the Heptathlon. All three athletes hit career-best scores. Fellow heptathlete Carissa Bentz just missed All-America honors with a ninth-place finish.

Thrower Matt Graber was able to advance to the finals in the Shot Put, but couldn’t improve upon his score, and finished in ninth place. Today is the final day of the three-day meet in Berea, Ohio, as the Central men sit in a four-way tie for seventh place in the team standings, while the women are in the 28th slot. Today’s events include the men’s 4×100 and 4×400 Meter Relays.
