A unique partnership in Knoxville is using pizza delivery to promote fire prevention. Those who place a delivery order from the Knoxville Pizza Hut between 6 and 8pm Wednesday could have it delivered by a firefighter, who will also check to make sure their smoke alarms are working properly. Households with working fire alarms in place will receive a voucher for a free pizza and those without will be given a new smoke detector to help keep their homes safe. The offer is valid for the first 10 orders placed within the selected time frame, but all pizzas delivered between 6-8pm will be accompanied by a free gift bag.
