A three-run rally in the seventh inning came up just short for the Pella Christian softball team, as the Lady Eagles fell 8-6 to Clarke last night. Paige Blom pitched all six innings for Pella Christian, giving up nine hits and striking out nine batters.

Pella Christian is now 3-2 overall this season, heading into tonight’s game at Knoxville. The JV/Varsity twin bill starts at 6:00 p.m., with the Varsity contest broadcast live on 92.1 fm, KRLS with Eric Gotschall providing the play-by-play.
