After being rained out Tuesday, and a day off yesterday, the Pella Christian baseball team returns to action tonight with another home game as they host Fairfield. The Eagles are 4-0 so far this season and so far have excelled in every aspect of the game with strong hitting, solid pitching and error free defense. Coach Brad Rolffs says that’s a results of a lot of dedication in the offseason.

The Eagles are scheduled to play nine games in the next week, as tomorrow they travel to South Tama for a LHC varsity doubleheader, then to the Eddyville Blakesburg tournament Saturday. Next week they host Ballard on Monday and Colfax Mingo on Tuesday then head to Knoxville for a key conference varsity doubleheader Wednhesday. Tonight’s JV/Varsity doubleheader starts at 5:30pm.
