The Knoxville Fire Department is opening up their doors to visitors this weekend.  The open house event will include a pancake breakfast, hosted by the Lions Club, and an opportunity for attendees to check out the departments’ equipment, including their new fire rescue attack truck.  In addition, the Life Flight helicopter from Iowa Methodist Hospital and the new Mercy One helicopter will also be at the event.  The open house begins at 7am Saturday morning.
