Knoxville broke open a tight game in the fourth inning and blew out South Tama in baseball last night 12-2 in five innings. The game was tied at one in the fourth inning when Knoxville plated seven runs, then ended the game in the fifth with the ten-run mercy rule. Colton Spaur earned the win, Knoxville improves to 9-2 on the season and 3-0 in Little Hawkeye Conference play. The Panthers step of the of L-H-C tonight with a road game at Chariton.
