Knoxville softball went up to day one of the B-C-L-U-W Invitational yesterday and came away with a win. The Panthers defeated Gladbrook-Reinbeck in come from behind fashion 10-9. They were down at one point 6-2 and battled back to tie it at six only to see Gladbrook jump ahead 9-6. Knoxville came back in the sixth and seventh innings to post the win. With the victory, Knoxville is now 5-7 on the season and return to Conrad to play two of the heavy hitters in the entire Invitational today. The Panthers will start out with Marshalltown, the team they were supposed to play Tuesday night, and then wrap things up with class 2A number one ranked B-C-L-U-W.
