Marion County has received 1.63 inches of precipitation in the past 24 hours. Which brings the rainfall total this month to 10.29 inches; breaking the old record 9.15 inches of rain that was set for the first 21 days of June in 1947. Normal rainfall for the first 20 days of June is 3.1 inches and last year we received 4.61 inches in the same period of time. In order to set a rainfall record for the month, Marion County must receive a total of more than 12.79 inches or just over 2.5 inches more before the end of the month, that record was set back in 1935.

In addition, as of 10:00am the English Creek was at 19.75 feet, or 2.75 feet above flood level.
