The Knoxville City Council has approved 3 fireworks displays at the Marion County Fairgrounds this summer. This year’s displays will take place in honor of Independence Day on July 3rd, the 50th anniversary of the Knoxville Nationals August 13th and during the Late Model Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway October 2nd. There will be four other Independence Day fireworks displays in the area next weekend as well. Including Leighton’s on Friday July 2nd, and Pella, Bussey and Pleasantville’s Saturday July 3rd; all of which beginning at dusk.
