After the water had begun to recede at Lake Red Rock, another round of heavy rains this weekend has levels back on the rise. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports that Lake Red Rock is currently at a level of 777.83 feet, as of 5:00 a.m. Monday. The record is 782.67 feet – set in July of 1993.

With rains over the weekend, new projections were issued Sunday. The Lake is predicted to rise to approximately 780.75 feet by July 4th. In-flow is expected to be 76,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) by June 29th, with that to decline to 60,000 cfs by July 2nd – only to increase again to 80,000 cubic feet per second by the 3rd of July. Out-flow at the dam remains at at 40,000 cubic feet per second, and is expected to increase to 60,000 cfs on Thursday.
