Pleasantville finished runner-up at its baseball invitational on Saturday. The Trojans beat Wayne in the opening round 6-5 then fell to Albia 4-3 in the championship. Coach Sheldon Card says as it gets toward the end of the regular season and looking to postseason later this week, he says improving on situational hitting will be the focus. The Trojans do have four more game to go before postseason hits this Saturday. Pleasantville will travel to Nodaway Valley tonight, head to Twin Cedars Wednesday night, host Southeast Warren Thursday, and round out the regular season Friday night at Mount Ayr before taking on P-C-M in the first round of the class 2A District at Pella Christian on Saturday.
