Melcher-Dallas softball will live to fight another day as the Saints won a hard fought 9-8 victory over Des Moines Christian last night in the second round of the class 1A softball regional. Melcher-Dallas is now 21-8 on the season and will have to travel to Lynnville-Sully to face the number eight ranked Hawks on their home field Monday night in a regional semi-final.
