Chariton scored seven runs in the first inning and never look over its shoulder in a 10-0 win over Knoxville last night in the first round of the class 3A softball regional. Knoxville never hit a ball to the outfield, and Chariton allowed only two base runners. Knoxville Coach Steph Christner said Chariton just simply hit the ball all game long. Knoxville finishes the season 11-20.
