It has certainly been a season to remember to this point for Pella softball and it’s not done yet

20 wins, a co Little Hawkeye Conference title, and Saturday the Lady Dutch earned their first post season win since 2002. Coach Krista Demeulenaere says this group of girls started as 8th graders at rock bottom when no one else wanted to be part of the program, and just two seasons ago had only three wins, but they’ve hung in, put in the hard work and now it’s finally paying off with a lot of success which is well deserved. She said she is so proud to be associated with the program and to watch their accomplishments. She also was quick to point out that they’re not done yet, saying “I’m not ready to get off this ride just yet”

Pella continues that ride tonight when they travel to Fairfield to face 6th ranked Keokuk in a Class 3A Regional Semifinal at 7pm. You can hear tonight’s game live with Eric Gotschall on 92.1 FM KRLS starting at 6:45pm.
