While Melcher-Dallas’s softball squad was losing a heartbreaker, the baseball Saints fell hard in the first round of the class 1A District at Twin Cedars last night to Southeast Warren 15-0 in four innings. Melcher-Dallas finishes up 2010 with a 10-9 record. Twin Cedars also fell in first round class 1A baseball last night to North Mahaska 7-6. The Sabers end their season at 10-12.
