As Knoxville prepares for its class three-A District opener Friday night against Chariton there is likely no doubt that Eric Jones will go for the Panthers on the mound. Jones in 11 appearances have dazzled so far with a 7-2 record allowing just 45 hits, ten walks, and a razor thin 1.65 E-R-A. Coach Steve Mott says Jones worked through the off season to perfect his game, and it is showing. Knoxville plays Chariton Friday night in Centerville at five.
