Knoxville and Centerville will have to wait an extra day to see who goes to the sub state.Rains came in the top of the fourth inning with Centerville leading nine-to-five and the Big Reds at the plate with no body on and two outs. The game will be resumed tonight from that point but they are not 100-percent sure if the will be played in Centerville. The city received over two inches of rain during the day yesterday and by the time officials had called the game the entire infield was flooded. If the game cannot be played in Centerville the second alternative would be to move the game to Knoxville, the third plan would be the Iowa High School Athletic Association to pick a place that is playable. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for further details as they become official.
