Pella’s Central Park will be bustling with creative expression during this week’s Thursdays in Pella event, which is themed “Artapalooza.” Highlights of the event include a vocal performance from 2010 Central College graduate Chris Weaver starting at 7:00 p.m., and the final performance for the Pella City Band, which will begin at 8:00 p.m.

There will also be pottery demonstrations, a quilt display and an exhibit from the Red Rock Arts Alliance; plus sidewalk chalk art and a chance to paint the city’s trash cans, among other attractions. Thursdays in Pella runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Pella’s Central Park.
