Knoxville begins the class three-A State Tournament with a first round game against Independence Tuesday at noon. Coach Steve Mott says all eight teams at the 3A state tournament will have outstanding teams and there is a reason they made it this far. Incidentally, for the three seniors on the team Blake McWilliams, Mike Jacks, and Jared McRoberts this is the second trip to the state tournament. In 2007 they were eighth graders who were brought up for postseason.
