A Pella man facing child pornography charges has been sentenced in Federal court. 44-year-old James Allen Russell was previously convicted of Receipt of Child Pornography.

Russell was sentenced Friday to 15 years in prison, along with a ten-year term of supervised release and will be placed on the Sex Offender Registry upon his release from prison.

Russell had pled guilty to the charges in April of this year, following an investigation by the FBI and the eventual seizure of his personal computer, which had images of child pornography stored on it.
