Knoxville Hospital and Clinics has named its first Heart of Gold Honoree. Marsha Lee, a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the hospital was recently recognized by the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation for making a difference in people’s lives. The Heart of Gold Program honors health providers and staff for their hard work when patients, family, friends or co-workers make a donation to the hospital foundation in their honor. Foundation Chairman Chris Hoegh says the program is a thoughtful way to recognize excellent care received at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics and all gifts made to the foundation support ongoing programs, services and purchases for the hospital.
