Three track champions were crowned at the Knoxville Raceway last night. Brian Brown made sure that Don Droud Jr. would not catch him in the A-Main as Brown won the feature race in convincing fashion. Droud began the night 81 points behind Brown but could get no closer than 71 all night and eventually finished with an unofficial deficit of 105 points and was fourth in the A main. While Jon Agan made it two in a row at Knoxville in the 360 A-Main…Clint Garner double dipped as the points champions as he successfully defended his title from last year. Garner was just 35.5 points ahead of Dustin Selvage when the night began. However Selvage was not able to cut into the points lead and settled for an 88.5 point deficit. In the 305 class, Tasker Phillips won for the third time this season while Jamie Ball was second. Racing veteran Steve Breazele was the overall 305 points champion. Again a reminder that the points do not become official until after the close of business tomorrow.
