The Pleasantville Volleyball squad fell to in Pride of Iowa Conference play last night to Martensdale St. Mary’s three games to none. The Blue Devils won by scores of 25/11, 25/20, and 25/ten. Pleasantville Coach Amy Updegraff said the second game the girls were in it most of the way. Updegraff adds that it has been a tale of two teams. Last week against one of the conference favorites Mount Ayr, they played well, however last night she said they struggled to get any consistency against a much taller Martensdale St. Mary’s.
