Two wheels instead of four will be featured this Saturday at the Knoxville Raceway. The A-M-A Pro Grand National Motorcycles are coming to the half-mile for their next to last event of the season. Raceway Race Director Ralph Capitani says the motorcycle show will be similar to a sprint car show. Two classes will compete, the Pro Singles where riders will pilot bikes up to 450cc, and Expert Twins where riders will have twin cylinder bikes ranging from 750-1250cc. Action gets underway at three Saturday afternoon with timed qualifying practice with racing beginning at 7:30.
