A Knoxville juvenile was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer Sunday night. Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS news the 16 year-old female was fighting with her father when officers arrived at the scene and attempted to bring her under control. The juvenile then tried to punch the two officers. She was eventually detained and transported to a secure juvenile holding facility upon the order of the Juvenile Court Officer.
