Mother Nature has prevented the Knoxville Cross Country Squads and several other area teams from running at the P-C-M Classic yesterday afternoon. Wet conditions at Monroe’s Gateway Golf Course coupled with more rain on the way caused P-C-M officials to cancel the meet and it will not be made up. PCM, Knoxville, Pella Christian, Pleasantville and Twin Cedars were all scheduled to compete. Knoxville will now wait until Tuesday when the Panthers host the first of three meets at Pine Knolls Country Club this season. The Panther Invitational will involve nearly every area team including, Pella, Pella Christian, Pleasantville, Twin Cedars, P-C-M and others from around the region.
