Four former Panthers have been selected as the new inductees to the Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees are the 1946 Indoor State Track Championship Team, made up of 10 athletes who won three events and placed in five others to dominate the competition in 1946. Track Coach Mike Cunningham who lead the Knoxville track squad for 24 seasons and placed in the state meet nine times. Multi-sport athlete and football All-American Dwane Crozier who went on to play in the Canadian Football League and football star Mark Rowland who earned class 3A first team All State honors and was named to the elite all state squad. The inductees will be honored on February 11th during the home basketball game versus Pella.
