On August 25th, Academy Roofing started to work on the roof of the indoor facility at the Pella Aquatic Center. Academy Roofing does have until October 31st to complete the project but due to a week of no rain, the company is ahead of schedule. Pella Administrative Services Director Jenny Hesseltine tells KNIA/KRLS News that it could be even earlier than the original date and that the pool is expected to open soon after the project is complete.
