The playoff chase continues for the Knoxville Football Squad tonight as the Panthers host Perry in Ken Locke Stadium. Knoxville has won its last three two over Newton and Saydel and hope to even its overall erecord and district record. Coach Troy Rider says Perry likes to run the ball out of several different offensive sets. He thinks tonight will be a lot like the Newton game. Rider says one advantage Knoxville will have tonight is the home field advantage. Perry has not been on Knoxville’s schedule or even played Knoxviille in over a decade, he adds if you have not played in Ken Locke stadium, it is a different experience with the field being below ground level. A reminder to fans going to the game, there is just a varsity game that starts at seven-30. However, at 5:15, the Knoxville grade school teams will hold a scrimmage in place of the usual freshman game. Gates at Len Locke Stadium will open at four-30.
