The Pella Christian boys Cross Country team finished their regular season strong last night winning the Chariton Invitational, while a shorthanded girls squad finished fifth. Skyler Giddings was the individual boys champion as he finished in 17:18, Josh Meyer finished third and Jacob Dahm had a great race finishing fourth. On the girls side, the Eagles were without their leading runner Sarah Brandsen who was unable to attend, but Mickaela Martin led the way finishing in eighth place. The meet was the final regular season meet for the Eagles as they now prepare for the Class 2A District/Regional meet which will be held at Pine Knolls in Knoxville on Thursday.
