Pella won the Knoxville Volleyball invitational Saturday rolling to a five-and-oh record on the day and doing it in two games to none sweeps. The Lady Dutch beat Pella Christian, Atlantic,and A-D-M in pool play then defeated Grinnell in the semi-finals and Iowa Falls in the finals. Pella Christian ended the day at 2-2 with wins over A-D-M and Atlantic, and loses to Pella and Iowa Falls in the semi-finals. Knoxville meanwhile earned just its second match win of the season with an opening round victory over Albia two games to one. However the Panthers would fall to Iowa Falls, Grinnell and A-D-M. Up next for Pella and Knoxville is a head-to-head match in Pella on tomorrow night while Pella Christian has completed its regular season and will start class 2A Regional action against Albia.
