In the past twenty-four hours the Marion County Sheriff Deputies responded to eleven calls for service. Including, but not limited to: 3 vehicle unlocks, 1 motorist assist, 2 follow ups, 1 harassment, 1 dog, 1 committal, 1 report of livestock in the roadway, and returned 1 call.

The Marion County Jail is currently holding fifteen subjects.

On Saturday five people were booked into the Marion County Jail.

Tara Jo Egbert is charged with OWI 2nd, Careless Driving, Fail to Yield – Pedestrian and Open Container/Motor Vehicle. Daniel Aaron Sorenson is charged with OWI/1st and Careless. Driving John Milton, Jr. Catron is charged with OWI 2nd. Ami Doris Martin was served an arrest arrant. George Henry VanderMartin was served an arrest warrant
