One thing is for sure that next season, Melcher-Dallas Football squad will be much more experienced for Coach Ryan Conrad’s second season.  The Saints with a few exceptions were very young and Conrad said that might have contributed to the slow start this season coupled with a new coach and system to get used to.  Conrad says across the board the returners will be solid players who now know the system. Melcher-Dallas does lose seniors Robert Bingham who rewrote the Melcher-Dallas and state record books in career passing this season.  Seven other seniors will also depart the Saints program.  Jeremy VanderEcken, Calob Seibert, Alex Willoughby, Josh Schrader, Billy Blalock, Bryce Becker, and Trey Schneider all contributed this season.  Most of the remaining players that had key roles this season were sophomores whom Conrad says will be big to building the kind of team he wants to field in the future.
