The Central College football team has finished another regular season with a spot in the national top 25 rankings for Division III. Despite suffering a disheartening 20-17 loss to 12th-ranked Wartburg College on Saturday, the Dutch finish the year at No. 24 in the AFCA Division III coaches’ poll and at No. 25 in the D3football.com poll. Fellow Iowa Conference rival Coe is at No. 15, while powerhouse Wisconsin-Whitewater remains at No. 1. Central again has a bye for the final week of their schedule, therefore ending the season although the rest of the Iowa Conference has one game left.
