While Pella Christian tips off its season tonight, Knoxville will wait for another week to start the girls basketball season. The Panthers usually have already started by now, but an adjustment to the Little Hawkeye Conference and non-conference schedule moved the season opener to next Tuesday in Albia. Coach Jim Utiermarkt likes the fact he has an extra week of work with his team, but one negative is…by next Tuesday many of the teams the Panthers will play may already have one or two games in. The Panthers return only two players that saw any kind of minutes from last season.
