High school wrestling teams have been going at it on the mats for the last week or so with official practices, however many of our area wrestlers have been getting mat time long before that. Knoxville Coach Eric Whitcome says a very productive summer of camps and tournaments have him thinking the Panthers can be very competitive this season. In his second season with the Panthers last year, Knoxville was able to move up a couple more spots in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Panthers’ season get to see how much improvement has been made from one season to another one week from tonight then they host Bondurant-Farrar and Grinnell in a triangular.
