In honor of Human Rights Day, “Organize the Hope” will sponsor a presentation by Yashar Vasef, the Iowa United Nations Association Executive Director. On Tuesday, November 30th, Vasef will speak about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the possible secession of South Sudan in the large African nation of Sudan. Judy James and Omer Ali, Central Students originally from Sudan, will share their insights as well. The event will be held in Cox-snow Recital Hall at 7pm and is free and open to the public.
