Mary Poppins the Musical, featuring Knoxville native Eric Hatch, makes it’s Iowa Debut at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines today. Hatch says the great thing about the musical is it takes the best parts of the well known 1964 movie with Julie Andrews and the books by P.L. Travers and puts them together in one piece to showcase the best of both worlds.

Hatch is a member of the ensemble of the show, which will continue its run in Des Moines through December 12th, and says the show is great for all ages and is really a musical he thinks everyone will enjoy and be able to relate to.
